President and CEO
Mark Barounos is President and CEO of G2Events Inc, an event virtualization firm, and its sister physical event management company, Hemisphere Expo Services. Mark has over 30 years’ experience in the event management field, with specific expertise in the area of video and telepresence technology integration into events. Prior to Hemisphere, Mark owned FBMA, which ran events throughout Asia, India, Australia and the USA. Additionally, he developed a pioneering online event streaming media technology that was acquired by Akamai Technologies. Before FBMA, Mark owned and ran MediaPlus Ltd, which introduced electronic banking into China with the Electronic Fund Transfer shows, and ultimately led to a World Bank-funded project to modernize China’s banks.
Anne Feldmann is responsible for G2Events' day-to-day operations, including physical and virtual events. Anne has over 20 years experience in the event business, and was an early pioneer in the virtual event industry. She spent seven years in Asia, and is conversant in both Mandarin and Cantonese Chinese. In addition to her work with G2Events, Anne is actively involved in the staging of FIS-level Alpine ski races.
